    You’re funny.

Do you ever have nightmares of rage-filled biochemists chasing you down the street with guns and knives?

That’s disgraceful if aspartame is in pedialyte. I was doing a search on it and read that pedialyte now re-formulated to not contain aspartame. If that is correct, I wonder what they put in its place?

    Sue,

Great point, they are now using sucralose - yet another synthetic compound - and “artificial flavors.”

Apparently, in the last 4 years they removed the name “aspartame” from the list of ingredients and added “artificial sweeteners.”

This is yet another reason why I continue to appreciate the People’s Chemist website. Funny & INFORMATIVE without a bunch of flowery fluff language to downplay the seriousness of the dangers of remaining ignorant about our health, especially that of our children. People, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE KIDS PRODUCTS CONTAINING ASPERTAME. Aspertame can also often be found in children’s vitamins and many other products, too. Parents should read the labels and at least try to have a basic understanding of what they are putting into their children’s bodies and their own. Wake UP, sometimes the nightmare is reality!

Oops! I mean aviod ASPARTAME! not aspertame…ROFL!

Thanks Heather! Excellent point you make. Keep making it! Let’s shock the zombies into reality, yea?!

I enjoy your Reality TV segments.
Their straight and to the point.
You’re also funny. The information is very helpful and important to anyone trying to regain their health. Keep up the good work

I call it ASPartame because it poisons like venom and only snakes would ever sell it. Plus, there is Faster Death & Cancer (FD&C) Red #40 and Blue #1, both made from petroleum by-products. No studies have been done on the synergistic effects of COMBINING neurotoxins. AND more chemical toxins in “artificial grape flavor” and you know nothing in that “flavor” ever came near a real grape.
I think even Shakespeare wrote about ASPartame, “Oh God, that men should put an enemy in their mouths to steal away their brains!” (Cassio, Act II, Scene III, Othello)

Great work on this product that is an “imminent public health hazard”! We need more information like this to create public awareness about this evil toxic twin of sucralose (Splenda). These two unnatural sweeteners are ubiquitous in our nation’s food supply and it IS a “crime” to be feeding these chlorinated pesticides and biochemical warfare agents to children who have no way of defending themselves from chemical poisoning.

The story of aspartame is one of corporate might truimphing over rational science. I’m glad to see a real scientist taking a stand against this travesty.

Rats, when fed sucralose experienced: Shrunken thymus and spleen; enlarged liver and kidneys; reduced growth rate in adults and newborns, DNA damage, and more.

Rats, when fed aspartame got: Cancerous brain and kidney tumors, neurological damage and a half dozen other maladies.

Not to worry though, McNeil Nutritionals LLC and the Nutra Sweet Corporation are taking steps to inform consumers to keep their Splenda and Nutra Sweet products in rat proof containers so that the hapless rodents will no longer be harmed.

    Shane,
You’re Awesome! Love all your videos.
I’m with you 100%. Look forward to each
one. I want to be your student. lol…

Thanks for all the great information. Its frightening to know that our government and drug industries would knowingly poison its citizens. I guess this is how they keep the oncology drug makers in business as well.
I have heard that coconut water is great for dehydration as well. Any thoughts on that?

Good vid, Shane. It caused me to waste half of a fine day researching aspartame. Shudder, shudder! Your “Fat Trap Wallet Guide” was also more useful than I had expected. I had to look up Acesulfame K (didn’t know that one) and found out that the “hydrolyzed protein” in the Designer Whey protein supplement I picked up at the grocery store the other day thinking I was doing my body a favor actually contains MSG, which causes me a lot of trouble! What is safe anymore? I found this site that lists camouflaged forms of MSG: http://presidiotex.com/aspartame/msg.html Is it all that bad, or they exaggerating? Still have to determine what’s wrong with niacin. Thought that was good for you.

  13. Heather

HA HA GGF! Leave it to Sir Shakespeare to say it with flowery fluff language…The poison of ASPS is upon their lips…NO MORE!

LOVE IT Shane!! I posted it at the top of my site, saved it to my Health playlist on youtube and I’m sharing it with friends and family, as always! Heard recently that diet food manufacturers are soon going to start using Stevia!!! Coca Cola is supposed to be one of the first. I am FLOORED, to be honest. Just hope they don’t split it with Sucralose or some other artificial, chemical crap! It’s SO hard for them to do anything right much less partially right! Thanks for all your hard work! You ROCK! :)

Shane, you mentioned pediatricians, I don’t know if any of you saw the absolute evil that came across my desk this week from “Pediatrics”. It read as follows:

Sick-Visit Immunization Associated with Fewer Well-Child Visits (1st - PLEASE - we all know vaccination IS NOT immunization and 2nd - that’s right they actually are pushing us to vaccinate while a child is SICK)

Young children given immunizations during sick visits are less likely to return for well-child visits, potentially affecting their overall preventive care, reports a retrospective study in Pediatrics. (probably because they’re dead, or so sick mom and dad don’t want to go back)

Researchers analyzed data from 4800 sick visits and 1700 patients, aged 6 weeks to 24 months, in urban practices. They found that children who received an immunization at a sick visit were 45% less likely to come back for a well-child visit within 60 days, compared with those who were not vaccinated then. After multivariable adjustment, children who did not receive immunizations at sick visits had more well-child visits overall than those with one or more sick visits with immunizations.

The authors write: “Our findings … suggest that efforts to improve vaccination rates by immunizing at sick visits may reduce children’s subsequent and overall preventive care.” They suggest physicians counsel parents at sick visits “regarding the non-vaccine-related benefits of well-child care.”

WOW that’s not only one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard, but one of the most dangerous as well. Think about, if the child isn’t vaccinated when they are sick, what does the doctor do? He schedules them for an appointment to come back when they are feeling better and get the stupid shot then!! That would of course be coded as a “well-child” check because the kid isn’t “sick” at the time of the 2nd appointment.

I love all of your video’s. After watching this video about Aspartame, this has given me ammo to write to the companies that uses this crap in their protein powders. I cannot wait to hear what load of bull they will tell me.

fantastic Shane, i walk the line with you all the way

    save us save ourselves

it is time for change like never before and lets stick together and get it out there
