Montel Gets Stink Award - You Can Get $100!
Stench of Montel and Big Pharma Love Affair Travels the Country
Learn about the most recent stench in health AND WIN $100! Keep reading…
Regardless of the dreary headlines exposing the latest prescription drug scandal, love affairs between Big Pharma and top celebrities are at an all-time high. Since drugs can’t be sold on efficacy and safety, they’re sold on notoriety. Love can hurt, but when top celebrities give pharmaceutical fellatio, it stinks.
The stench comes directly from a big orange bus and a syndicated talk show host who is currently traveling the country as PPA – The Partnership for Prescription Assistance. Fronted by Montel Williams, PPA is hell bent on getting every American on drugs. Once a Nation Under God, we are now One Nation Under Drugs thanks to such stink.
Aunt Helga is buried in drug costs thanks to her family doctor prescribed pain-killer addiction. Grandpa can hardly remember Grandma’s name since starting his cholesterol lowering drugs. And Mom is now an honorary member of the Fat cow Hall of Fame courtesy of her blood pressure meds. As drug expenditures rise, health plummets. Welcome to the Land of the sick.
Reeling from bad PR in the wake of killer drugs (think Vioxx, Ibuprofen and anything else sitting in your medicine cabinet) and price gouging, the prescription drug industry sanitizes its public image with the PPA program, an ugly bus and bald guy with the curse of gab. The PPA travels the country with the message that “Help is here” and promises “free or nearly free prescription drugs!”
Montel Williams’ smiling mug attempts to make us believe that “Big Pharma wants to help”. I decided to see just how much help they really provide. As the orange bus rolled into my hometown, it was go time.
With thoughts of America being sabotaged by Big Pharma, I may have gone too far. I could have buried my head in the sand and pretended that a mass effort to drug and sedate every man, women and child in America didn’t exist. But I know too much. There’s no going back for me. No more “America’s Got Talent,” Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC), Brittany Spears or whatever else we use to bludgeon ourselves into complacency. This is the point of no return. A literary suicide bomber, I boarded the bus strapped and ready to blow.
Once aboard, I was met by smiling “cheerleaders turned PR queens.” Akin to drug rep screening protocols, I wondered if bra size was a criterion for the job. This bus was wrought with female warm fuzzies and the type of ignorance that makes Paris Hilton look like a Nobel laureate.
I avoided the pleasantries. In the name of Aunt Helga, I wanted Montel to be the first to feel my rhetorical blast. “Where’s Montel?”
“Oh, he’s working on another project.”
Disappointed, I continued to sleuth my way to the truth. “So, how can you help me?”
“We can help you get free drugs.”
“Splendid, let’s get started.” I wondered what the hell they thought I needed in the way of drugs, but then remembered that thoughts among these queens are prolly as rare as a drug rep who reads – books not magazines.
Applying for assistance on one of the eight or so onboard computers, I typed in an annual income of $20,000. I pretended to need Lipitor, Coreg, and Xanax.
I didn’t get free drugs. I got a handful of discount cards – saving me a whopping total of $2.69 on all three drugs compared to buying at Wal-Greens.
Apparently, it’s just a scheme to get me and my wallet back on the medical merry-go-round. “Is this the charity claimed by Montel in the TV commercials?”
Hissing and snorting ensued by the PR queens who took the “play dumb” route.
“Well, everyone gets something different with regards to discounts.”
“What about generic drugs?” I insisted that, “I’d save more just by going generic.”
“Oh, this is only for trade name drugs…like Lipitor and such.”
“Oh, that’s what trade name means? Thanks for clearing that up for me. You girls are so helpful.”
Is your nose starting to pick up the scent of something rotten?
The Partnership for Prescription assistance (PPA) is really The Partnership for Prescription Addiction (PPA).
All the world is a stage. Hasn’t some dude already reminded us of this?
Let’s follow the money and see who’s actually backing Montel and his traveling pill show.
In 2004, congressional Rep. Billy Tauzin, the former chairman of the House committee that regulates the pharmaceutical industry, stepped down and became the new president and CEO of PhRMA. PhRMA is the drug industry’s lobbying group responsible for cleaning up their image. To this end, this “fox in charge of the henhouse” spearheaded the creation of the PPA in 2005. It was funded by the top 48 U.S. drug companies!
I proudly give this Stinky Sulfur Award to Montel Williams and his Partnership for Prescription Addiction, which is valiantly crossing the country and assisting the drug industry with its mandate: One Nation Under Drugs, No American Left Unmedicated.

when your poor disAbled /sick and homeless a prescrioption drug program can save you.
the problem to focus on is the drug em and shove em method of USA mental health VA AND COUNTY/CITY and the MISdiagnosis to support both drug use and ease of care.
TOO MANY ARE GETING ANtI DEPRESSANTS FoR ANXIETY ADN ENVIRONMENTAL CAUSED stressors
then when the brain is pushed and it would appear more and more end up permenantly bi-polar.
anyone doing studies?
also seems there is a lot of take a pill fix a problem mentality.
penny wise care.
and then when mh cleints continue that training on their own, no one likes it.
anyone studying the effects of govt sponsored trianing to solve your problems with drugs vs real solutions?

Stinky sulfur award to the heart doctors of my friend’s husband
This award goes to all of the doctors of my friends husband, who through promises of a “free” heart transplant in the “future”, are using him as a guinea pig to test a large gamut of heart drugs and their effects on a man with severe congestive heart failure. This is after they almost killed him with four bypasses (only one of which is still only partially open after 18 months), which surgery caused his most severe heart attack so far. He’s only alive because he was still in ICU at the time. Among the drugs of choice are Coreg, Plavix, Crestor, and other blood pressure “wonder” drugs. The only “wonder” is how long they will take to kill him. All the while he’s eating chips, dips, and any other food his poor heart desires because he’s under the mistaken impression that these drugs will offset anything else he does to his body. No one has told him to take massage doses of CoQ10 to offset some of what Crestor is doing to him. These folks had no medical insurance, and now have massive medical bills. So he was ripe for a program to provide his drugs he’s been convinced he needs.
Of course he has to make periodic trips to the Heart Hospital for tests to see how he’s faring and how close they can come to killing him while maintaining the illusion that it’s all necessary to manage his heart disease. During this process, they still hold out the hopes of a new heart. He’s had to add Nitro for severe chest pains on occasion and it makes me so sad to see him on this medical merry-go-round. All the books and periodicals I’ve given him with the truth of the matter have been ignored as he considers these Doctors as being more knowledgeable and only believes them. So I’d give the award to these physicians and all others like them using people desperate to live, as their own human guinea pigs.

MONTEL gets the stinky award, pretending to be a friend of those disadavantaged, while raking in his endorsements. Kinda like his goofy show , isn’t it. I am one injured by Baycol, the pain gets worse when I see that commercial. Walter Johnson

Drugs are a doctors answer to everything. If you have a headache - take drugs. If you have an ache - take drugs. Got an upset tummy? Take drugs. It wasn’t that long ago when you would not see a drug commercial on TV, nor would you hear one on the radio. Today, it is common place to see an advertisement for one drug or another at least once every 30 minutes on TV. If you read magazines you will be inundated with them as well. They claim to be educating America. All this so called education could be better spent on true education not pushing drugs.
A personal experience - I suffered from severe migraines for most of my adult life. I have taken various medications over the years to minimize the frequency. After many years of taking drugs for the headaches and severe allergies that I developed mid-life my health rapidly declined. Now, I suffer from chronic renal failure and have minimum use of my left side. This would be fine if I always walked circles. There is also an undiagnosed spot on my brain in 4 brain MRI’s. All that time I thought they were trying to find my brain, gesh. Bottom line, present health concerns due to toxic system from long term medication. Thank you drug companies of America!
Who is to blame for such travesties? The doctors pushing the drugs or the pharmaceutical companies rewarding doctors who use their drugs?

I would like to nominate 2 Canadian politicians for the Stinky Sulpher Award. Minister of Health Tony Clement for not selling his 25% shares of a Pharmaceutical supply company before taking office. When news of this blatent conflict of interest hit the papers he finally “transferred” his shares to his partner in Feb/08. Now he is pushing forward the controversial Bill C-41 which would kill off the biggest competition to big pharma, Natural Health Products. Prime Minister Steven Harper should share in this award since he allowed all of this to go on under his nose! The Canaidan government is corrupt!

“Stinky” Sanofi Pasteur’s Pentacel 5-in-1 vaccine
As if childhood vaccines weren’t stinky enough Sanofi Pasteur’s Pentacel has FDA approval as of Monday, June 23rd 2008. Pentacel combines diptheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio and influenza type B which is an outrageous combination. The vaccine was clinically tested on only 5,000 children. The companies package insert states the 4 children died within 30 days of the Pentacel injection compared to 1 death from the control group. The list of contraindications are downright stinky and I would advise any parent who would even consider this vaccine to have really good insurance to pay for all the side effects.
I believe that this dangerous “combo vaccine” could potentially be a fatal blow to the delicate immune system of a child. These are children who could sustain life long damage not to mention life ending incidents due to this vaccine. Is it worth it? Are you willing to gamble on your child’s life so they can receive a few less shots during their lifetime? The fact that this vaccine was approved by the FDA in no means verifies that there will not be long term implications or serious adverse reactions in the future. This vaccine ranks right up there with the extremely stinky HPV vaccine that is a risk not worth taking. It’s no coincidence that manure and Pasteur have two things in common they rhyme and they both stink!

Loras stink blog has my vote. Not everyone has the advantage of being married to a chemist like I do. And believe me when I say that if you knew what we know about these deadly poisons, you wouldn’t let a vaccine near your child. But everyone has access to BOOKS! There is no excuse for taking blind action, especially when it comes to the safety of our children. Educate. Don’t vaccinate!

Sulfur award should go to my local hospital. Good friend went to ER with chest pains. They did no tests and wrote him a script for pain pills.
Less than a week later he was back in the ER and YUP, more pain medication. He checked himself out and was driven 60 miles to another hospital. He is now in ICU with slim chance of survival.

I was already put off by Montel years ago when he was encouraging people to go to poetry.com which is an obvious scam. After that he repeatedly had that “psychic” woman on his show, who seems to be wrong often, and tries to cover it up. How he gains anyone’s trust is beyond me, I would avoid him, and anything he endorses like the plague.
July 28th, 2008 at 5:46 am
As someone who once believed everything my parents, grand parents, teachers, bosses, clergy fed me, it is not entirely surprising that this trend of blind obedience continues, in part, via syndicates like Montel.
Celebrities unfortunately are worshipped as though they possess undeniable knowledge about anything, which flows from their mouths. However, it is really our society, which has eliminated any level of critical thought about any subject, which has opened us to become the dumb serfs, we tend to be.
I am not necessarily blaming individuals per se, but, my god, we must wake up. Our mental and intellectual lives were buried over 50 years ago when Edward Bernays dropped his good sounding psychological warfare on unsuspecting public who bought his ideals hook, line and sinker. As an example, he helped construct the PR campaign, which led people to believe that cigarette smoking was healthy. Don’t believe this, just Google his name.
This Montel-laced bag of fairy dust is really just a facade and is in fact a burning bag of shit waiting for its next victim to stomp it out only to learn that he has been duped.
Shane’s work is helping to change this numbing trend. It’s going to require a mass shift in consciousness to being moving in a more positive direction but it’s a descent start.

Is Montel high on the medical marijuana that he advocates or is he jacked up on “free” prescription meds from his stash on the orange bus? In Savannah, Georgia Last November during a stop of his Magical Misery Tour, talk show host/explosives expert Williams threatened reporter Courtney Scott when she asked him a question about whether restriction of drug industry profits would discourage research and development of new drugs. After the interview he told her, “I’m a big star, and I can look you up, find where you live and blow you up.”
After 17 years on the air his CBS show was canceled when he spoke out on live television against Fox News coverage of the death of actor Heath Ledger. Asked his opinion of prescription drugs being the cause, Williams deflected the question and asked why Fox is not giving as much air time to 28 U.S. soldiers who died in January. The show hosts wanted to talk about how these toxic meds are addicting and killing millions of Americans and Montel, as a well-paid Big Pharma drug whore, quickly changed the subject to Iraq (wouldn’t want any teeth marks on the hand that feeds you). After a commercial break, Williams had vanished from the Fox news set faster than Chris Angel from a crumpled fire suit.
The Montel Magical Misery Tour may be headed towards your city to try and take you away into a life of addiction and despair. Like Shane says, if you see the orange bus coming, grab your wallet and run like hell!

I think sucralose (Splenda) should be given serious consideration for a SSA award. It is the height of irony that an international health icon like Lance Armstrong is endorsing FRS, a supposedly healthy energy drink sweetened with sucralose. The joke on us, is that this celebrity cancer survivor is promoting a product containing a deadly chlorocarbon which, like others such as Dioxin and PCBs have been shown to cause cancer (as well as birth defects, liver, kidney, and brain damage).
This toxic crap is delivering chlorine directly into our body’s cell structures with disastrous and long-term consequences. It is ubiquitous in our nation’s food and beverage products (even in most so-called healthy products)and it needs to go the same route as trans-fats; First public awareness, then a nationwide movement away from its use. The People’s Chemist article on Splenda was picked up by Reuters News Service, reaching over 1 billion people worldwide. A good start. But consumers need multiple batterings of the message before it sinks in.
August 1st, 2008 at 2:00 pm
OOOHHH! You hit a nerve here with me Chuck. I can smell the Lance Armstrong stench from my office…Either he is really stinky or his “Live Strong” yellow bands are made of sulfur - every wanna be Lance is wearing one around here it seems.

Actress Sally Field, the seemingly ageless icon of a Baby Boom generation that starts turning 60 this year, revealed that she was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis and is leading a public action campaign to educate and inspire women to fight the fragile bone disease.
Field chose to go public with her personal health and is launching Rally With Sally For Bone HealthSM, sponsored by Roche and GlaxoSmithKline. The campaign encourages women to protect themselves against fractures so they can remain active and reduce their risk of a debilitating injury.
BONIVA is a prescription medicine for the management of postmenopausal osteoporosis.
Important Safety Information (Tablets) You should not take BONIVA if you have low blood calcium, cannot sit or stand for at least 60 minutes, have severe kidney disease, or are allergic to BONIVA. Stop taking BONIVA and tell your healthcare provider if you experience difficult or painful swallowing, chest pain, or severe or continuing heartburn, as these may be signs of serious upper digestive problems. Follow the dosing instructions for the once-monthly BONIVA 150 mg Tablet carefully to lower the chance of these events occurring. Side effects are generally mild or moderate and may include diarrhea, pain in the arms or legs, or upset stomach. If you develop severe bone, joint, and/or muscle pain, contact your healthcare provider.

I would give a Stinky Award to Coca Cola and Cargill.
Though Stevia is a much healthier alternative than aspartame and splenda. I think it stinks bigtime that Coca Cola and Cargill are gearing up to use stevia. Soda is soda. Nobody needs soda. There is nothing nutritive about soda and using a healthy sweetener is just a smokescreen. Of course now that the big conglomerates want to use Stevia the FDA will give it’s blessing. And it stinks even more that Coca Cola has filed 24 patents for stevia. And they’ll get them too if we just sit back and do nothing. Perhaps we need to organize a petition to stop the patenting of an herb.

HFCS in all NATURAL yogurt.
I was disappointed to read on the content of my “Fruit on the bottom, All Natural DANNON Yogurt” contained HFCS. How is this NATURAL? Dannon responded to my question with there is sugar in all yogurt (Attached below). Yogurt was around before these artificial poisons and it was good for you too (then).
Their reply fitting for a SSA:
July 10, 2008
Dear Peter,
Thank you for contacting the Dannon Company, Inc. We appreciate your interest in our products.
Depending on the variety, Dannon yogurt contains different amounts of naturally occurring and added sugar and sweeteners to please a wide variety of consumer preferences. There are four main sources of sugar in our products: lactose, which is naturally occurring sugar in milk; fructose, which is the naturally occurring sugar in fruit; sucrose, also known as table sugar, which is added to some of our products to enhance the sweetness; and high fructose corn syrup which is also used as a sweetener in some products. Yogurt with live and active cultures cannot be made without some amount of either added or naturally occurring sugar, because the cultures need it to survive.
We offer a variety of products with alternative sweeteners or no added sugars to accommodate the sugar intake needs of most people. Dannon Light ‘n Fit(r) Smoothie contains fructose, lactose and the sweetener Splenda(r), while Dannon Light ‘n Fit(r), Light ‘n Fit Carb & Sugar Control and Light ‘n Fit Carb & Sugar Control Smoothie contain just lactose and Splenda(r). Dannon Light & Fit 0% Plus uses a sweetener blend to deliver on its great taste, these ingredients are fructose, fructose syrup, aspartame, sucralose and Acesulfame K. Dannon Plain Lowfat, Nonfat and Natural yogurts contain no added sugar. The only sugar present in the Plain products is the naturally occurring milk sugar, lactose. Many people who are watching their sugar intake enjoy buying our plain yogurts and adding fruit or other flavorings to it.
Once again, thank you for contacting Dannon. We hope this information is helpful for you. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call our toll-free number 1-877-DANNON-US (1-877-326-6668), Monday through Friday, 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. Eastern Time.

Someone already beat me to the punch. I also nominate Sally Field, promoter of Boniva. Just to add a little more…
Bisphosphonates such as Boniva are caustic chemicals that any human tissue they come in contact with. They have been proven to induce inflammation by direct contact with body surfaces and they set in motion a chain reaction of inflammatory events. They work by poisoning to death a type of bone cell known as an osteoclast. Even though osteoclasts are a normal bone cell required for healthy bone metabolism, the pushers of these poisons have come up with an excuse to perform a type of chemotherapy on bone cells, often in the name of preventive health!
These drugs cause swollen bone due to their highly inflammatory nature. In fact, the unreliable and inaccurate X-ray-generated pictures doctors claim are better bone density after a person has been taking these drugs for a while are actually pictures of swollen and inflamed bone that is being chaotically disorganized and weakened by these drugs.
By the way, Roche, the manufacturer of Boniva, lists side effects on the site under Patient Information, but possible jaw necrosis is NOT listed. They just say there may be other possible side effects and you should consult your health care professional.

Introduction: Who is the recipient and why?
Dr. Verbalis and Dr. Miguel Franco of Memorial Clinical Associates for creating a new disease “Senior Moment” and a drug to cure it!!! FYI-they are looking for participants…so hurry get your test and see if you qualify!!!
Scientific research shows that every day nearly 76 percent of Americans suffer from “senior moments”—including memory lapses and decreased alertness!
If you’ve experienced such forgetfulness and foggy thinking, you could be suffering from low sodium levels in your blood—a condition common in older adults.
Both water and sodium are critical to how well your body functions. When you’re healthy, your body naturally controls its sodium and water levels.
But your sodium level naturally drops as you age—which can result in conditions ranging from headaches to seizures.
When the level of sodium in your blood drops too low, you can develop a condition called hyponatremia, or low blood sodium.
According to Mayo Clinic geriatrician Paul Takahashi, M.D., this imbalance can be linked to age-related problems with metabolizing water. Hyponatremia can also be caused by taking certain diuretic or pain medications, kidney or heart failure, severe vomiting or diarrhea and cirrhosis.
The condition has been linked to chronic heart failure, lung disease, liver disease and cancer. But little is known about how low sodium affects brain function or how to treat it.
“Studies suggest that people with low sodium experience difficulty thinking and concentrating compared with those who have normal sodium levels,” said Dr. Joseph Verbalis, chief of endocrinology and metabolism at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., and a key researcher of the effects of hyponatremia.
He noted that mild hyponatremia often goes untreated or undiagnosed because many people think the symptoms are a normal part of aging.
Dr. Verbalis and Dr. Miguel Franco of Memorial Clinical Associates are the lead investigators on the INSIGHT study. The researchers are testing the drug tolvaptan to determine if it may help improve brain function in older adults.
Men and women over the age of 50 who have been diagnosed with mild hyponatremia are eligible to participate in the INSIGHT study. Participants should have constant low blood sodium levels between 123 and 134 mEq/L. Your doctor can perform a simple blood test to see if you qualify.
End: Offer an alternative or how to avoid…Drink more pure water and use more sea salt!
August 5th, 2008 at 1:58 pm
I think Sally Fields should get the SSA.
She is misleading women by endorsing the osteoporosis drug BONIVA.
Many women believe a celebrity when they endorse a drug and Sally is encouraging women to take the once a month pill that will do more harm than no drug at all.
The alternative to osteoporosis drugs is good nutrition, exercise and education on natural nutritional supplements. And don’t forget natural sunshine.

Quackwatch should get the Stinker Sulfur award of all time! In 2005, when my husband & I decided to take our son to an alternative clinic in Mexico, for our son’s cancer treatment, a relative told us that the doctor of the clinic was listed on Quackwatch, as one of the “quacks”. Our son had lymphoma with a tumor as big as a grapefruit under his arm & smaller tumors above his collar bone. After 3 months of treatments at Dr. Donbach’s clinic in Mexico, our son’s tumor had shrunk to the size of a ping pong ball & the tumors above his collar bone were gone. The clinic was then closed for 2 months because of erroneous & false charges against it. By the grace of God, our son has no cancer today. Quackwatch is operated by Stephen Barrett MD. He is a retired psychiatrist. He claims the website’s mission is to protect consumers from health fraud. But, who will protect the unfortunate, reputable doctors that he lists on his site as “quacks”? He obviously is biased against alternative treatments & doctors who practice them, even attacking proven uses of vitamins & other therapies for treating illnesses. He even has a link titled, “Plaintiffs Wanted for Consumer Protection Suits!” & he mentions that the “plaintiff typically gets an ‘incentive’ award for standing up & being counted” (Quoted from Quackwatch.org). Sounds like a witch hunt to me! There is NOT A WORD on his site about health fraud in the pharmaceutical industry or about drugs & doctors that prescribe them to people who die from side effects. He also states the negative effects from studies done on vitamins, etc, but NOT A WORD on the positive benefits of the studied products. And, are the scams, that he points out really scams? Our son was healed from cancer from the treatment he had at Dr. Donsbach’s clinic. Dr. Donsbach & other doctors & health treatments, have been unfairly & maliciously attacked by Quackwatch & Stephen Barrett.

Robert Gallo should get the Stinky Sulfur Award for perpetrating the “HIV as the cause of AIDS” theory.
Gallo’s theory has never been peer reviewed and HIV itself has never been isolated. It was simply promoted as “gospel” by the main stream media.
In a recent court case in Adelaide Australia, Gallo admitted, via video feed, that his “HIV Test” was accurate only 40% of the time. Of the 1000 AIDS patients tested, only 400 actually tested “HIV Positive”. If HIV is not detected in 60% of patients diagnoses as having AIDS, then it can not be the cause.
Subsequently, Dr. Peter Duesberg has estimated that 300,000 AIDS victims in the U.S. have died from the so-called AIDS drugs and not HIV. Only after AIDS victims started to die of liver and kidney failure were those conditions added to the official list of “AIDS Defining Illnesses”. Those conditions are the known side-effects of the AIDS drugs. Clever way to hide malpractice, huh?!
People diagnosed HIV positive, like myself (over 22 years now), are regaining our health by simply not taking the poisonous drugs and using natural methods for re-building our Immune Systems. Each person is unique, and so, must find their own way to heal.
How many more people will die from Gallo’s failed hypothesis?
August 5th, 2008 at 11:20 pm
I think the SSA award should go to Amanda Peet. She was quoted as saying “Frankly, I feel that parents who don’t vaccinate their children are parasites”. Jenny McCarthy has worked tirelessly to bring awareness to the public about how the children have been poisoned with the vaccines and many have suffered the consequences with Autism.
August 6th, 2008 at 1:54 am
My SSA award goes to the Australian Health System which is supported by Doctors who buy into BigPharma crap.
Firstly I thank them for re-starting my heart and my recovery period. My heart did stop.
I was 44 yro woman, who had a healthy lifestyle and diet, which I had began researching at the age of 22. By degrees ie ongoing collection of information. At the time it happened I was critically stressed, in several areas of my life.
I presented to my local GP 5 times with chest pain, had 5 ECGs and was sent home, one Dr prescribed ulcer medication without any tests, I looked too fit and healthy. I came back for pain medication which I took because the pain excruciating and I couldnt sleep or work. I finally went to the Hospital Emergency Dept on a Sunday and said I would rather die than put up with this pain, they put me on a bed, gave me a needle and waited for it to happen, flew me to Sydney where I was observed recovered and was discharged by a Professor of Cardiology who prescribed Betaloc 1/2 am 1/2 pm, 2mg coversyl, 1/2 aspirin and cholesterol meds, a referral to see my physician upon my return home, who incidentally had supervised a heart stress test at 40 yro, 4 years previously.
He confirmed Professor of Cardiology comment “We dont know why you had a heart attack, you are young fit and healthy, angiogram shows nothing but you must continue to take this medication for the rest of your life, because research shows that people live longer if they take it. So I did for another 5 years, when I started cutting down on it, I attended Anthony Robbins Seminar, Life in Fiji 2007 and now have completely stopped taking the meds, with confidence from what I have read on this site and a gut feeling throughout that I didnt need it. I am now 52+, My diet is the best it has ever been, I would like to increase my excercise, but that is a mental/fear based thought to overcome, I have to overcome the idea of getting my heart rate up and healthier, which I will in time. I am grateful that the medication was available to save my life but to sentence me to death by it for the rest of my life, methinks someone out there is getting rid of unnecessary people and maybe I was added that list when I became ill. Who knows but I am alive fit and healthy, Taking FX powder and following the principals you have adapted on this site along with a few I have found helpful along the way. Thank you Shane for sharing this information, I send it on to everyone I know here in Australia. Great Work.

Stinky Sulfur Award should go to Stephen Barrett, founder of Quackwatch.org. See the above article.
August 6th, 2008 at 11:00 am
I originally thought Lance Armstrong should be the next nominee for a SSA. After looking closer at Sally Field and Boniva, I endorse her nomination above good old Lance.
New Sun Nutrition (maker of FRS) knew what they were doing when they offered Armstrong a position on the Board of Directors and a ton of company stock if he would endorse their toxicocktail.
Roche Pharmaceuticals also knew that the lovable Flying Nun could be used as a powerful marketing lever to pry into the hearts, minds, and pocketbooks of hapless and uninformed consumers.
Lets give the SSA to bonehead Sally!

Although setting broken bones and stitching up open wounds are dealt with well in most cases, by doctors and vets, many injuries are poorly dealt with, in particular slow healing and pain from an injury.
Anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, analgesic and cortisone are typical drugs used in treating injury. Yet all these carry serious consequences and act against what the body is trying to achieve.
Taking the homoeopathic remedy Arnica internally deals with the CAUSE of injury, quickening the healing process, melting away the pain, preventing bruising (when taken immediately after the injury), preventing infection and healing old injuries to boot. Arnica will efficiently deal with the majority of injuries, past and present, by assisting the body, rather than opposing it.

Where was I? Let’s see, yes, yes…where do I begin…
As I pondered who I would like to award a Stinky Sulfur Award, many deserving candidates and organizations crossed the neuro paths of my mind.
Like our kids pediatrician who insisted on the safety of vaccination for our mucousy, rash inflamed, blood in his stools sensitive baby son, who also printed me off something about vaccine safety myths for questioning their safety. Stinky! Especially once you uncover the truth! Thank God we wised up to that one before it was too late…
Or how about the oncologist my dad went to see when he was given a diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, for calling alternative medical treatments the source of all sorts of sheer quackery. The sheer irony of it…
Or all his various ‘Drs’, who had him on sooo many prescription meds that, knowing what I know now, it only makes complete and total sense that he only lived as long as he did. Starting somewhere in his twenties…Lithium, other antidepressants, cholesterol meds, sleeping meds, antacids…Sulfur! 58 yrs old…RIP. This one really hurt…
Or him, for always trusting and accepting what he was told by his ‘drs’…
Or the AAP for the STINKY letter they came up with to have pediatricians hand out to their non vaccinating parents. From a Chicago Tribune column…
And how does the AAP plan to handle it? The organization will not talk about choice or informed consent, issues that should be raised with any medical procedure that carries a risk.
Instead, the AAP suggests in a sample letter to pediatricians, that physicians tell parents who refuse to vaccinate that they have a “self-centered and unacceptable attitude” since your child is getting protection from others who have chosen to vaccinate.
And if you absolutely refuse to vaccinate your child despite your physician’s efforts, you could be booted from your pediatrician’s practice. The sample letter to doctors from the AAP recommends saying:
“We will ask you to find another health care provider who shares your views. We do not keep a list of such providers nor would we recommend any such physician.”

Are your eyes burning from the sulfur yet…?
Or how about GlaxoSmithKline for the pneumonia vaccine trial in Argentina in which 12 babies died within a year?
Or Monsanto & their partners in the FDA for making GM and toxic forming frankenfoods available in the marketplace and corrupting the safety of our food supply and taking away our power to choose whether or not we want to be a part of their insane mad science experimentation, which has already begun to reap dangerous consequences. Not even so much as a LABEL. RBGH…What sick a gimmick. Patenting plants, seeds and animals, too. This hell knows no bounds. Wake UP people!
Or how about the various public screening campaigns launched to see how many children and post partum women they can prescribe some of their profitable drugs to?
Too much Big Pharma & Big Brother…the stench of it ALL.
There’s more, there will be more. But where, oh where, do I begin?
Let me drop the SSA bomb. I would like to award the Stinky Sulfur Award to myself…for all the times I allowed others to naively lead me by the hand over the cliff. And to you, for everytime you allow the same.
Yes, I know the one.
The one who vaccinates their child(ren) without really understanding the risks vs the benefits. Been there.
The one who takes the toxins the Dr prescribes them without carefully questioning what they are actually doing to their body or how they got those undesirable symptoms and conditions in the first place. Done that.
Or the Dr you trust who just can’t admit that sometimes he really is doing more harm than good and that everything he was taught by the medical school establishment to believe was not all there was to know about real health but because he is in so deep, he simply cannot deal with the scandal of the shadow that Big Pharma continues to cast on their profession whenever they fail to acknoweldge this.
Yes, you know the one.
So, where, o where do I begin?
Look in the mirror and ask yourself…Who deserves a Stinky Sulfur Award?
Chances are it just might be you.

If a blind man leads a blind man, will they both fall into a pit?
The solution is to WAKE UP to the truth and show your fellow man the way.
