DROPPING BLAIR OFF AT COLLEGE
By The People's Chemist
My wife and I raised our son, Blair, with jiujitsu, wrestling, soap making, and aviation. Born at home, he never had any “baby wellness checkups,” formula, or juice. Mom kept his diet simple with breast milk, Whey Advanced, and sunshine.
We fought like hell to keep him away from sugar, high fructose corn syrup, vaccines, doctors, and hospitals. All of these are proven to ruin human health.
We homeschooled Blair through 9th grade. Too smart, he graduated early. Ignoring all else, he focused on wrestling and aviation. His training schedule was rigorous enough to make people question my motives as a parent. He could lose 10% of his body weight in water on command.
Blair never quit. If he was in pain, nobody knew it (except Mom). After he snapped his ACL in wrestling, he sat on the couch for three weeks. He waited until he could start rehabbing it with air squats and jogging.
When he busted his ear drum, he laid in bed for two days straight. Didn’t take one painkiller.
When he wasn’t at wrestling matches, Blair wrote award-winning poetry, which I’m not supposed to talk about.
One time, we flew over the Sea of Cortez and had a fuel leak. With decimal point precision, we calculated the outcomes and planned for the worst.
We sat silent as we navigated our way to the nearest shoreline runway. We had 14 minutes of fuel to spare.
The first time I ever saw Blair nervous was during a night flight.
Heavy clouds put out the stars and moon. At sunset, it was as if black oil got painted over our windows. Visibility was something to either laugh or cry about. Turbulence tore at our airframe. Wind gusts challenged our prop performance.
Blair sat stone faced. After an hour of getting his nerves rattled, he looked at me calmly and asked, “Papa, how good are you at night flights?”
“I’m a seasoned night flight captain, son,” I assured him. He sat back and fell asleep.
At age 16, Blair tried shrooms for the first time. For three hours, he got lost in his bedroom. That’s when he realized, “Modern day life is the toxic byproduct of technology and ego.”
BUILDING A LIFE FREE OF VICES
I made Blair’s life as challenging as possible. Why? So that he could always remain true to himself and never lose pieces of his potential to vices. Each time a child falls into vices, he loses a piece of his responsibility...He loses the responsibility of becoming who he’s meant to be.
Through those challenges, we became the best of friends.
A son cannot be “manufactured” or even gifted through birth. Just because you brought someone into the world doesn’t mean you have a relationship with them. It’s something that curates carefully over time through untold experiences, memories, and emotional bonds.
Nothing can equal the treasure of shared memories, quarrels that sharpen the iron of the spirit, heartfelt reconciliations, and times endured under the stressors of everyday life.
A father-and-son relationship built slowly over time is irreplaceable. No fortune can buy you the experience of watching your son become strong and wise under life’s pressures. No fame or fortune can compare to the thrill of watching your son “get it”… one puzzle, book, and science experiment at a time.
…But one day, there comes a time when the calendar stops all of your work as a dad. Then you have to tell him goodbye. And let him go on his own.
The mourning that follows brings that secret grief of growing old. This is the hidden rent we pay as parents. Dropping Blair off for college was both awful and rewarding.
Awfully rewarding.
The People’s Chemist was made for the family to live young, so they can treasure more shared memories. To protect your ability to live young, I created my “3-Step Purity Promise.” Prescription drugs, over-the-counter (OTC) painkillers, and vitamins are the top killers!
There’s only one way to protect the family—ditch the meds and toxic vitamins and use healthy, effective alternatives that come with a promise of purity.
As the leading provider of plant-based medicine, I ensure that all of my products are free of cane sugar, artificial flavors, colors, fillers, and dye-based, synthetic capsules that are known to be harmful. Therefore, like anything in nature, every batch and product can have slight variations in color or flavor, akin to a grape or banana. Regardless, the medicinal content and value of every batch is 100% guaranteed, thanks to my 3-Step Purity Promise.
As The People’s Chemist, I’ve been developing and manufacturing botanical medicine for more than two decades. I do not sell vitamins or homeopathic remedies.
My 3-Step Purity Promise is an iron-clad safety and efficacy policy that was put in place to protect your family. Using the exact same standards I used as a pharmaceutical bench chemist, this Promise goes far beyond the basic requirements of United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and the grocery store term, “organic.”
First, it guarantees that your botanical medicine has positive, measurable results as confirmed by decades of research. Second, my Promise guarantees that every product is free of pesticides, insecticides, and any other type of inorganic products. And most important, the medicinal content of every batch is 100% guaranteed.
If you want more “awfully rewarding” moments with your loved ones, ditch the meds and live through my Purity Promise.
